Downtown Film Festival: Los Angeles.
This
festival presents feature and short
films at venues throughout Downtown,
from the historic movie palaces on Broadway
Avenue to Barker Block and SCI-Arc in
Downtown’s Arts District. This event
will also present a digital arts festival,
a full day of "green" programming.
August 13th - 17th.

Jethro Tull at the Greek Theatre. By the mid-seventies Jethro Tull was one of the most successful live performing acts
on the world stage rivaling Zeppelin, Elton John and the Rolling Stones; touring near
and far to fans across the world for over four decades. Joining Jethro Tull will be
special guests Young Dubliners. August
17th.

Mr. Punch Grown Up. This isn't
your ordinary comic book. Filled with both
photographs, sketches and photographs of
sketches, the story follows the memories
of a young boy at his grandfather's arcade.
Throughout his time at the arcade, the boy
visits the Punch and Judy (puppet) Show,
which, at first, I thought was a fantastic
element created by Gaiman, but only to find
out it actually existed in England...
